The next working bee for the Friends of Scenic Estate Reserve is Sunday May 5 for another round of woody weed control, mainly gorse.

Organisers say the weather forecast is perfect - a fine sunny day 17C with some clouds - and are hoping many volunteers will take part in the event.

The working bee runs from 10am until 12noon, followed by morning team.

Please meet in the carpark at Scenic Estate Reserve.

Tools and gloves are supplied, but please bring a water bottle, hat, sturdy shoes, a mug for a hot drink (and your own gloves if preferred).
