Upgrade of the area has been moved to Stage 2 (from Stage 5) of the Cowes streetscape project.

Olive Justice "done justice" with new loos
The site was the former home of Olive Justice, granddaughter of original 1868 settler Charles Grayden. When Olive died in 1995 aged 99 years, she bequeathed the property to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army placed the property on the market and it was purchased by the Bass Coast Shire Council.
