Our Lady’s community celebrates Mothers’ Day

Our Lady Star of the Sea recently welcomed mothers and other special women in our lives for breakfast and a prayer liturgy.

After years of Covid restrictions, families flocked to the event, meeting and catching up with other parents and students. The children loved showing off their beautiful classrooms and school environment to their mums, aunties and grandmothers.

Over 60 visitors braved the cold, wet weather to enjoy a hot drink and cooked breakfast. This was followed by a prayer liturgy which celebrated the love and dedication of all our mothers and significant women.

Some students shared a prayer with the school community and everyone particularly enjoyed the slideshow which featured all the mothers’/carers and children in the school community.
