There was an extra celebration last week at the Sisters and Misters dinner, when choir member Pam Spencer celebrated her 90th birthday.
The choir’s lead coach, singer Irene Bennetts and her husband Alan hosted the dinner at Kaloha restaurant in Cowes and made sure Pam’s big milestone was appropriately celebrated.
“A great night was had with singing and dancing in harmony bliss,” said one choir member.
The celebrations continued on the weekend with a special afternoon team.

“Pam has given and continues to give to all her local community,” said friend Denise McGill, who listed Sisters and Misters, banjo club, reading group, Lions Club, walking groups and sewing shopping bags among Pam’s regular community contributions.
“Pam’s hospitality knows no bounds. The eclectic mix of all the people who attended her garden party is frankly a strong testimony to the unique individual Pam is,” Denise said.
“Pam is inclusive, an open house to all, and frankly just the finest example of who we should all aspire to be.”
Around 90 guests attended, all friends and recipients of Pam’s freely given generosity over her lifetime, Denise said.
