Phillip Island's Good Friday Appeal festival is proving just how powerful a community can be, with local businesses, volunteers and residents coming together to already raise close to $20,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital.

Over the past two weeks, a wide range of events have been held across the island, each contributing to a growing total and showcasing the generosity and spirit of the community.

From Grumpy's Crazy Golf, Clay & Co's Creative Café, to The Store, Ember & Oak and A Maze'N Things, every event has played an important role in bringing people together for a shared cause.

The recent Golf Day at Phillip Island Golf Club was another major highlight, raising $9410, while the PJ's & Pins event at Phillip Island Tenpin Bowling & Entertainment Centre continued the momentum with a strong turnout of families and supporters.

A special mention must go to Good Friday Appeal ambassador Youki, who has been front and centre at events right across the island.

"His energy, enthusiasm and willingness to be involved in everything has brought something truly special to this year's festival - and by all accounts, he's loving every minute of it," said a festival spokesperson.

"Behind every event has been an incredible network of people giving their time, donating prizes, supporting raffles and simply showing up.

"A heartfelt thank you goes to every business, volunteer, sponsor and community member who has contributed. It is this collective effort that has made the festival what it is."

With the campaign now heading into its final days, there is still more to come.
Wildlife Coast Cruises will host a Good Friday Appeal cruise this Wednesday evening, offering a relaxed night on the water with live music and entertainment.

The festival will then culminate with Good Friday on the Lawn, presented by the Rotary Club of Phillip Island & San Remo from 10am, featuring entertainment, raffles, bake-offs and activities for all ages.

A special highlight will be a live phone cross to Channel 7's Good Friday Appeal broadcast between approximately 10.30am and 11am, showcasing the island's efforts to a statewide audience.

The message is simple; this is a community coming together to make a difference.
And in the end, it is all for the kids.

There's been some special guests at Good Friday Festival events, including Mickey and Minny Mouse at Grumpy's Golf.
