PIBC - Supergroms - pre-season family info night

The Phillip Island Boardriders Club (PIBC) is about to launch their 2023/2024 Supergroms Season with a brand new initiative.

This year, it's starting the season with a ‘Pre-Season Family info night’.

The information evening will be held two days before the season starts, at the PIBC Clubhouse (76 Veterans Drive, Newhaven) on Thursday October 19 from 5.30pm - 7.30pm.

It will give families a chance to meet each other, see the clubhouse, and find out all about the club and Supergroms program. Attendance is just a gold coin donation, which will help keep events like this running in the future.

Special guests from the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club (WBSLSC) will be presenting some important information on water safety, and members from the Phillip Island Boardriders Club will be sharing some expert tips on how to help groms catch their first waves, while giving parents and carers the confidence to support them in the water. There will also be question and answer time, as well as a free sausage sizzle for all attendees.

The PIBC Supergroms program runs annually from October to March, and will be kicking off with the first surfing event at 9am on Saturday October 21st.
