PICAL has released its Adult Learning Course Guide for Term 2 in 2023.
Starting in the second week of May, PICAL is offering a range of computer upskilling courses from beginners through to more advanced education, in areas ranging from using the Canva graphic design program; through to “creating your own website” and “how to protect yourself from online and email scams”.
There will also be courses offered in a wide range of other topics including “hospitality-related skills” such as Cooking On A Budget Boot Camp, Barista Basics and a Gnocchi Masterclass; through to a range of other delicacy-making classes led by our own Cowes CWA ladies. We will also again conduct the ever-popular seven week “Women’s Self Defence” course, as well as the range of regular community group activities hosted at PICAL.
On Saturday June 17, PICAL will also host another First Aid Training Day, including CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) training and refresher courses.
Prior enrolments are essential, and anyone interested should visit the PICAL website Education page at www.pical.org.au/education-classes, to download a copy of the Term 2 Course Guide.
Printed copies of the Course Guide are also available at the PICAL Reception, at 16 Warley Avenue, or we can email copies by contacting reception@pical.org.au, or phoning 03 5952 1131.
We look forward to welcoming our local community to our new headquarters at 16 Warley Avenue.
