PICES launch new brand
The PICES held its second Annual General Meeting at the Newhaven Information Centre on November 7.
The Phillip Island Contemporary Exhibition Space Inc (PICES) held its second Annual General Meeting at the Newhaven Information Centre on November 7. The President outlined the achievements of the past year and the outgoing Committee was re-elected.
The meeting was followed by a celebratory launch of the PICES 2022-27 Strategic Plan and promotional signs and banner featuring the attractive new PICES branding designed by Committee member Carolyne O’Callaghan.
PICES is grateful to both Bass Coast Shire Council and the Rotary Club of Phillip Island and San Remo for funding these projects.
Organisation of the fourth series of annual Pop Up Exhibitions to be held at Ramada Resort Phillip Island, from January 4 –31 2023 is well underway.
It will feature the work of 26 talented artists from Bass Coast and beyond, working in a wide range of media including painting, print making, ceramics, photography, wood turning. Not to be missed!
Also not to be missed, Stage 2 of the Hoard project. Fourteen different artists are now featured on the hoarding along Thompson Avenue outside the Cowes Community Cultural Centre development.
