Poachers fined but not convicted for Berrys Beach abalone seizure — Offenders admitted their guilt in the Korumburra Magistrates' Court for a range of offences after fleeing Fisheries offices at Berrys Beach. After being arrested they were found to have illegally poached 90 abalone - more than twice the commercial limit and with 28 under size.
