Police chase in Cape Woolamai

UPDATED: 3.45pm. The two men have been successfully apprehended by police.

Wednesday, July 5: 1.45pm: The Police Airwing and on ground patrols are searching for two men in Cape Woolamai.

The pair, driving a stolen Porsche were first spotted in Cowes and then tracked to Cape Woolamai where they abandoned the vehicle.

Police are continuing to search for the men, who are believed to be hiding out in the coastal scrub at Cape Woolamai.

One of the men is believed to be known to the police.

A police spokesperson stressed there was no danger to the public.
