Probus Club of Cowes bursts into song

The Probus Club of Cowes now has its own club song.

At the last meeting, members were treated to a rendition of the new song, after the words of a song (author unknown) were found in the club archives.

Our Vice-President Pat Bowen organized a competition. Participants were invited to use the words which could be altered if necessary, and to put them to music.

Four entries were received and the winner was Nadia Cole. The two judges Rob Watson and John Swarbrick sang the song and played the accompaniment. Judging by the audience's applause it was a great success.
