The undefeated Tooradin travelled to Cowes to keep their unblemished record intact.
The intensity of Phillip Island around the contest early was terrific and although leading to scoring opportunities didn’t convert to scoreboard pressure.
Will Taylor Eagles, Jack Opitz and Cooper Logan were leading from the front in the middle part of the ground and taking it to the fancied Seagulls.
The back brigade were holding firm and repelling each Tooradin attack. Led by Arie Cook, a slender 20-point lead is all that separated the two sides at three quarter time.

A huge last quarter was required and despite the best efforts of Robbie Linford and Blake Christopher, a final margin of 28 points gave Tooradin the victory.
