On a sunny and windy day, the Reserves teams clashed at Warragul in what proved to be an enthralling match.

The Bulldogs displayed their skills and determination, adding 3.3 and the Dusties once again were held to a single point against the wind.
With a lead of only 19 points coming into the last, the pressure was mounting.
The final quarter was marked by intense pressure as both teams fought tooth and nail to get possession, however, from the intensity came plenty of stoppages and hotly contested balls.
It wasn’t pretty football by any stretch, but no one could argue the desperation shown by both teams.
The Island defended extremely well, and while not scoring themselves, managed to restrict the Dusties to just the two pints for the final quarter.
It was great to see the Bulldogs' ability to adapt to the conditions. The enforced changes in their lineup played a pivotal role in their success.
