Island netballers and Koo Wee Rup battle it out - A Grade

A grade had an intense game against Koo Wee Rup.

Throughout the game defensively we were strong and maintained control, and ring defenders, Anthea and Jaclyn took many intercepts allowing the attack end to convert the turnovers to goals.

Amelie had great pressure and kept the opposition from getting onto the ring.

In the first quarter, we were able to utilise the pressure and score 10 while keeping Koo Wee Rup at seven.

The attacking end played a strong and smart game onto the ball.

Unfortunately, we were unable to maintain that momentum, letting Koo Wee Rup gain possession.

With the final score being 38 to 43 Koo Wee Rup way.

Best on court went to Amelie and Anthea.
