Island girls tie scores with Bunyip - C Grade

C Grade

The C Grade girls came out raring to go after an intense game of knockout and tunes pumping.

The starting seven were Taylah in GK, Karina in GD, Chloe in WD, Tori in C, Rose in WA, Bella in GA and Lawri in GS.

The Island came in hot scoring the first few goals against Bunyip!

Taylah’s height in GK helped to rebound any missed shots by Bunyip.

Karina intercepting left, right and centre in GD. Karina does an amazing job in that position, as she does all positions.

Chloe working hard in WD to help keep the pressure on against Bunyip’s attackers and bringing the ball down to Lawri and Bella.

Tori, our true Captain, knew exactly what to do in C and played her game to perfection, even with a banged up middle finger.

Rose, doing what she does best, feeding into our shooters from WA flawlessly.

Nikki came on into WA in the second quarter and absolutely smashed it.

Bella is a true legend in the ring. Her moving and attacking the ball is always fantastic, helping to get our final score to 30.

Lawri, coming back from a couple of years off netball, and made it look like she never left, just changing ends of the courts, Lawri was born to be a shooter.

All in all, our girls gave it their absolute all and should be very proud of their efforts.

Island 30 drew to Bunyip 30.
