Great effort from C Grade

What a great game by C Grade, the girls are starting to really come together as a team and the recent consistency of players has helped.

With the big loss of Bella Ross, we were fortunate to have big sister Charli Ross return for her first game of the year.

She hasn’t lost her groove and although we had hoped to keep her for a little longer, she already benched for A grade as well.

Both Charli and Lawri had amazing shooting for the whole game and worked so well together, especially for their first time ever.

The work rate of the mid court in Rose, Nikki and Karina was on fire.

They worked and worked and chased loose balls everywhere.

We welcomed Poppy back from her overseas travels, and she slotted back into defence and rebounded well.

But the big play of the day was watching Chloe own GD and just had a field day with her defending skills.

Picking and choosing her battles has enabled Chloe to really see through her attacks and we lost count of the turnovers she was responsible for.

By far the best game we’ve seen Miss Moxey play.

We stayed goal for goal until the last few minutes where a few of our goals didn’t sink and a few turnovers went Dalyston’s way meant they ran away to steal the win.

Overall considerable, they’re second on the ladder we were extremely happy with our game, and we know we are coming home strong.
