Register on the day to be in the running for one of this year’s great Fashion on the Field prizes at Phillip Island Health Hub Race Day at Woolamai on March 21. Glenn Odgers and his daughter Eowyn caught the eye of judges at the Fashions on the Field parade in 2025.

This Saturday, March 21, the Phillip Island Health Hub Race Day returns to Woolamai, in the biggest fundraising day of the year for the Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary.

Now in its seventh year, the race day has raised over $70,000 in total for equipment for the health hub and new community hospital on the island.

Gill Scrase from the Auxiliary hopes everyone will embrace the chance to dress up and really enjoy the day.

"If you are coming, please participate in the Fashion on the Fields and have some fun.”

This year, there’s a special focus on fashion, with some fabulous prizes to be won, thanks to generous donations from sponsors.

Members of the Auxiliary will be asking people of all ages to register and it’s free to take part.

Prizes for this year’s Fashions on the Field are:

• Most Fashionable Junior: Four x gift vouchers from PI Ten Pin Bowling ($80)

• Gentleman of the Day: $125 voucher from Cowes Massage Therapy and four gift vouchers from PI Ten Pin Bowling ($80)

• Lady of the Day: A necklace of freshwater pearls (valued at $500) plus flowers from CWA Twilight

• Best Millinery (judged as part of Lady of the Day): $50 Gift voucher from San Remo Nails

• Locally Sourced Outfit (with the majority of the outfit sourced within Bass Coast Shire): Four gift vouchers from PI Ten Pin Bowling ($80)

Tickets will also be on sale for the Race Day raffle, with prizes including a Wildlife Coast Cruise, Bass Strait Direct seafood voucher, Phillip Island Winery voucher and a circular saw from Mitre 10.

Once again, the Woolamai District Racing Club will donate $5 for every adult entry ticket sold.

Like every year, this year's Race Day is an opportunity to support the provision of some vital equipment for the Phillip Island Urgent Care Centre and new Community Hospital.

"By coming along and enjoying the day, you are contributing to medical care in the island community," said Gill.
