Results from the table
This week's bridge club results.
On Monday, October 16, the winners were Greg Nicholson and Deb Anglim on 64.81 per cent.
Following up on 54.17 per cent were Ann Green and Ruth Harvey.
New partnership Marnie Myall and Paul Waylen finished third with 52.78 per cent.
Interestingly none of the 15 that went to Rutherglen the previous week placed on the day, perhaps they were in recovery mode after all those winery visits.
On Wednesday, October 18, Paul Waylen and Karen Klym took out first place with 55.36 per cent.
Another new partnership, Leng Haggith and Judy O’Connell came second on 54.76 per cent.
In third place were Trish and Don Stuart-Uden on 51.19 per cent.
The previous week there was no bridge at the club as 15 players went to Rutherglen for the week.
A wonderful time was had by all.
The group played bridge every morning and visited the wineries in the afternoons (that order of activity was considered best for the bridge games!).
On Thursday, the Albury bridge club welcomed the group and a lovely day was had by all.
The Albury club look forward to visiting Philip Island Bridge club in the future.
The week was a big success, with plans to do something similar next year.
