Come and celebrate the inspiring achievements of Landcare and its partners in protecting habitat and rebuilding biodiversity on our island.
Attendees will enjoy dinner, presentations and meeting others who share a passion for protecting our unique natural environment.
The evening will be hosted at the Phillip Island Winery on Thursday August 20 from 6pm to 10pm.
Guest speakers include Anna Mezetti, local landholder, biodiversity champion and micro-forest NatureMaker, David Rooks from Phillip Island Land Alliance, and Plant Ecologist at Phillip Island Nature Parks Dr Luke O'Loughlin.
Ms Mezetti and Mr Rooks will speak about the impact Phillip Island Landcare and other volunteer organisations and landholders are making in restoring biodiversity on the island, including the successes and the challenges, with Ms Mezetti also sharing her knowledge on how to create habitat for wildlife, even with smaller urban gardens.
Dr O'Loughlin will present research being undertaken to inform evidence led decisions for habitat restoration projects on Summerland Peninsula and Cape Woolamai.
Hosted by Phillip Island Landcare Group in partnership with Phillip Island Nature Parks, this event is expected to book out fast with limited places.

Drinks will be available at bar prices and take-home bottles of wine from Gippsland Wines with bespoke labels will be also available for purchase on the night.

Established in 1987, the Phillip Island Landcare Group (PILG) is a community, volunteer-led group that works to protect and restore the island's natural environment, with a focus on promoting the conservation and restoration of native biodiversity and encouraging sustainable agriculture, business practices, and lifestyles.
