Rotary membership boom

The Rotary Club of Phillip island and San Remo created a new first for the district with the induction of the highest number of new members in one event last month.

These new members will be part of the worldwide network of volunteers who each contribute to the betterment of our community both here and overseas. 

During the evening, the club had the pleasure of hearing from former member Duncan Hedditch who has been deeply involved in water projects in Timor L’Este.

Duncan was awarded the high honour of receiving a Paul Harris Fellowship for all of his amazing work.

On the local front, Rotary is active in many youth projects as well as assisting homeless and families in need as well as other community groups.
