San Remo Brigade is taking part again in this year’s Push Up Challenge.
The Push up challenge is to raise awareness for mental illness and Push for reducing lives lost to suicide.
Five members from the brigade have taken up the challenge including team organiser Andre Chiaradia, his son Finn and brigade captain Mark Thiele, as well as brigade members Tim and Jack.
Between them, they’ve already completed 1929 push-ups!
The brigade put out a call on its Facebook page, asking the community to help support its members who will "Push for better" and complete over 3000 Push ups in June, to represent the lives lost in 2020 to suicide.
You can support their efforts by heading to their fundraising page at https://www.thepushupchallenge.com.au/fundraisers/sanremofirebrigade
Lifeline is one of this year's beneficiaries. Every 30 seconds an Australian reaches out to Lifeline for help.
