Sand along Cowes west beach will be bulldozed to build erosion defence ridge to protect Cowes Yacht Club.

A few years back pedestrians could easily walk along this strip of land in front of the Cowes Yacht Club’s fence, which had thick vegetation. But now erosion is threatening to undermine the fence line and no trees are left.
