School Sport Victoria on the island

Phillip Island Bowls Club hosted the School Sports Victoria Bowls Event on March 8.

Cowes Primary School, Newhaven College and Our Lady Star of the Sea all partook in the day’s activities.

With both greens full of young bowlers, the competition was played over five rounds.

Results

1st: Cowes Primary School – No.1 team.
2nd: Cowes Primary School – No.2 team.
3rd: Newhaven College – No.1 team.
4th: Our Lady Star of the Sea.
5th: Newhaven College – No.2 team.

Cowes Primary School’s No.1 team will now compete in the regional finals later in the year.

A big thank you to all the teachers and to the volunteers from the Phillip Island Bowls Club for making it a very enjoyable day for all the children.
