Scouts’ Christmas trees sell out

The Phillip Island Scout group had a sell-out Christmas tree sale on the weekend.

Over 300 trees were snapped up by people eager to get their Christmas decorating underway, raising much needed funds for the group.

As the Scouts’ major fundraiser for the year, the group was thrilled at the level of support from the community and thanked everyone who came along and bought a tree.

Money raised goes towards equipment and activities for the 56 members (Scouts, Cubs, Venturers and Rovers) of the club.
