The Phillip Island Scout Group are set for offshore activities, after being given a grant to buy a trailer to store and transport kayaks.
Bass Coast Shire provided the grant, which is the final piece in the puzzle for the group’s adventurous activities challenges.

Skills will include local paddling day trips, to white water kayaking and rafting, or sea kayaking, while working on the Scout’s peak award, said the group’s Robyn Mylius.
“We are so fortunate to live in this part of the world where we can explore our local marine environment, to not only learn great new adventurous skills in paddling kayaks, but to also understand how we can minimise our impact on this incredible environment,” she said.
