In May Phillip Islanders celebrated a victory for people power with a State Government U-turn on closing the Cowes Fisheries office and sacking four staff. However last week it was revealed only two of the four officers have now been reemployed in their roles, a “blatant” and “cynical” move to cut staff numbers, say experts. (File photo).
