Shortstack: youth grants and events
Engage and FReeZA grants for youth now open, plus Youth Fest happening in September.
Youth engaged
Applications are open for Engage! 2025-2027 program grants.
Grants of between $60,000 and $180,000 over three years or $20,000 to $60,000 per annum are available for youth participation and engagement activities across Victoria.
The grants will fund community organisations and councils to work with young people aged from 12 to 25 to design and deliver activities that suit their interests and the goals they aspire to achieve.
There are three categories of activities funded in the program - youth engagement and participation, youth development and youth celebration and events.
Grant applications are open until September 23.

Participants in the programs funded by FReeZA grants will gain practical skills such as lighting production and event management, and emerging musicians and artists will have a platform to showcase their work. FReeZA will prioritise applications that engage young people from diverse backgrounds and strengthen sector partnerships and capacity.
Applications are open until September 30.
Youth Fest 2024
The skills and achievements of young Victorians will be celebrated in September with a month-long festival.
Youth Fest grant recipients have worked with Victorians aged 12 to 25 across Victoria to deliver festival events and activities.
Young people and their communities are encouraged to participate in Youth Fest this September, marking the seventh year of Victoria's youth celebration.
