Steve and his e-bike will be part of the Renewable Energy Demonstration Trailer at Newhaven Market on Saturday August 21.
Local Steve Fuery may not quite have the infamy of Ewan McGregor or Charley Boorman but is quietly following in their footsteps.
After watching ‘The Long Way Up’ Steve took the leap and purchased his first Electric Motorbike through BikeSales - a second-hand Zero adventure bike that was shipped over from the UK in February this year. While he loves planning adventures and mapping charge points on Plugshare, above all Steve says on these silent bikes “…you feel the G forces, the experience, feel a stone under the wheel and hear the cows in the paddocks you go past”.
Steve and his bike are regular visitors to Phillip Island’s local markets and will join the Renewable Energy Demonstration Trailer at Newhaven Market on Saturday August 21.
