Southern Ocean Environmental Link
Southern Ocean link will host a hands-on recycling workshop where you can use innovative new technology to recycle and transform them into a unique item for you to keep.

This year, the Masonic Hall behind the Festival Hub will be the home of the Southern Ocean Environmental Link, hosting two fun activities across the weekend.

There will be a free Virtual Reality experience where you can learn about the spectacular reefs around Australia’s southern coastline while you explore Victoria’s biodiverse Marine National Parks, ‘snorkelling’ with dolphins, seals and rock lobsters - all without getting wet.

Start collecting all your plastic milk lids and bring them along to a hands-on recycling workshop where you can use innovative new technology to recycle and transform them into a unique item for you to keep. Plastic will be available for use also.

Learn about the impact plastic has on our marine environment and hear about solutions to tackle plastic waste in your community.

Cost: $5
