Special charge scheme cost hike questioned
Cr Jan Thompson said she was concerned about the interest rate applied for those who seek financial hardship on special charge schemes: "When a homeowner can't afford it - in particular those on pensions and benefits - they are forced to pay twice the amount of others. We may need to address this in the future."
