U16s RIPS grand final winners at the recent 2020 Dandenong Basketball Tournament. Phillip Island and District Basketball Association (PIDBA) had all their Phillip Island RIPS representative teams enter the 2020 Dandenong Basketball Tournament over the Australia Day long weekend.
All players were thrilled to be back and finally on the courts.
The PIDBA teams had a range of great results throughout each age group, however with great success in all their rounds the U16 boys played well in their Pool to make the grand final.
Undefeated, the U16 boys Phillip Island RIPS team went into their grand final game with confidence from their great run throughout the tournament and secured a great win against McKinnon.
Final scores were 73.38.
It was a great team effort and Zac Walker was awarded the MVP at the end of the match.
