On Saturday May 31, the Gippsland Soccer League celebrated their 2025 Representative Squads with a Jersey Presentation at Drouin Dragons’ new facility.
With their biggest event, the Country Championships, taking place next weekend, this was a chance to acknowledge our teams and share in the excitement prior to the long weekend.
The event saw over 300 attendees across three age group presentations, cheer on our Representative Squads.
The main event of the Representative Squad season is the annual Country Championships which sees all country soccer associations gather for a three-day tournament across the long weekend.
This year our squads will travel to Albury Wodonga and face opponents from leagues such as Geelong and Sunraysia.
This year the GSL is sending six squads: U12, U14 and U16 boys and girls teams.
It is the first year the league has submitted equal girls and boys teams.
The GSL would like to thank Drouin Dragons for hosting the event and wishes our representative players and families a safe and fun tournament.
