Phillip Island’s Angus Kennedy finished third in the Under 14 Boys section of the Woolworths Surfers Groms Comp held in South Australia on the weekend.
Sam Sparks (Kiama, NSW) took out the blue ribbon in the category with Ashton Crowley (Port Noarlunga South, SA) in second.
Surfing South Australia Contest Director, Craig Potgieter said overall it was a good day with some great surfing.
“The groms had a lot of fun with beach games and surf skate sessions in the carpark and we could not have asked for better weather and conditions. Everyone was stoked."
