A chilly Saturday morning at Killy Bass, with wet conditions saw Bass off to a good start against Phillip Island.

After the first five minutes Phillip Island girls kicked into gear leading at the first break.

The second half was Phillip Island’s best quarter with solid defence, strong intercepts and goalies converting goal after goal.

Bass kept on chipping away during the second half to score some goals and defenders did well with rebounds.

Phillip Island girls worked hard in tough conditions until the end to take out a convincing win in cold and wet conditions.

Best players: Sienna Trew and Lily Mewett.
