1 min read

Seniors

The Seniors put on a commanding display, running out 59-point winners over a determined Kilcunda-Bass outfit.

Cameron Pedersen was a focal point up forward with three goals, consistently clunking marks and leading with intent.

Nick Anderson matched him with a classy three-goal performance of his own, while Max Walton and Billy Taylor chipped in with two each to keep the scoreboard pressure on.

Nine individual goal kickers again highlighted the side’s versatility and depth.

The midfield brigade got on top early, with Connor Thompson and Tyce Kleverkamp working hard at the coalface and delivering clean entries inside 50. Jaymie Youle, Jay Ladson and Hayden Bruce were standouts across half-back and through the middle, disrupting Kilcunda’s forward movement and driving transition play.

Max Walton’s work rate and polish were on full display, earning him a spot among the best as the Bulldogs tightened their grip on a top ladder position.

Final Score: Phillip Island 15.15.105 def Kilcunda Bass 7.4.46.
Goals: Pedersen and Anderson 3, B Taylor and Walton 2, Youle, Ladson, J Taylor, Kimber and Collison 1.
Best: Bruce, Youle, Ladson, Thompson, Kleverkamp and Walton.
