The 2025 home-and-away season has come to a close, with all four Phillip Island Football teams showing strength and determination in their final round against Inverloch-Kongwak.
With all the sides heading into finals, confidence across the club is high.
This round also marked a special occasion, with the club proudly supporting the Shades of Pink Fundraiser for Breast Cancer, organised by Sarah Pedersen.
A fantastic function was held on the day at the club rooms to raise awareness and funds, with the full story to be featured in next week’s paper.
In a great show of solidarity, all players took the field wearing pink socks, while the A Grade netballers donned striking pink dresses in support of the cause.
Seniors
The Seniors stormed into finals with a commanding 143-point victory, defeating Inverloch-Kongwak 29.14 (188) to 6.9 (45).
From the first bounce, the Bulldogs dominated with pace, pressure and precision. Billy Taylor was unstoppable up forward, kicking eight goals, while Cameron Pedersen added six and Brendan Kimber four.
Yianni Caffieri and Nick Anderson chipped in with three each, with further contributions across the board. Jordy Patullo capped off the day in style, celebrating his 100th senior game with a strong performance.
With momentum on their side, the Seniors now face Kilcunda Bass in an elimination final at Nar Nar Goon on Saturday, August 30.
