The Thirds rounded out their home-and-away season with a finals-like clash, going down 4.8 (32) to 7.5 (47).

While Inverloch claimed the win, Phillip Island took plenty of positives, including strong performances from Benjamin Chihotski, Jack Briggs, Noah Forrest Mabilia, Isaac Savona, Max Taylor and Jack Kennedy.

Goals came from Oliver Duggan and Max Taylor with two each. Despite the loss, the U18s finished the season as minor premiers and now turn to their semi-final against Inverloch on Saturday, September 6, at Western Park, Warragul.
