Felix Bathgate was showing his skills for Red, putting the ball forward at every opportunity and managed to score a goal for himself.

The start of the second quarter saw the reds moving forward a lot more. Jack, Max and Charlie began moving the ball well.
Strong work from Levi Addison and HenHouse for the Blues, moving the ball around as best they could with Zane Matthews and Marley Caballo also doing their job well.
Big Al and Joe "the general" Kelsy worked hard down back for the blues, controlling the Blues backline.

Third quarter began from the start, it was clear that Coach Tarryn Allen had given the kids good rev up for the Reds and out they came with a bit more vigor.
A great contest in the Blues forward line turned around quickly with the Reds stringing together three good kicks and about five hand passes, pushed it straight into their forward line, had the Reds up and about.
Tielin and Zach H linked up well from the backline resulting in a good goal.
Bryden Marshall, Harry, Darcy and Ethan Rhee all linking up well to score another, and the Reds were full of fight.
A Sammy O clearance and kick into the forward line, had Duke kicking a great goal to keep the Blues in it.
Captain Kai managed a sneaky goal while the umpire was sleeping, had the Blues sniffing around.
Lewy was up to his usual antics, tackling hard and moving the ball well, but the reds moved forward a bit better in this quarter.

At the start of the last, both teams still wanted the win.
Good play from Gemma, Zack and Jacko, result in another goal for the Reds and the spectators thought the Reds might have it.
Then all of a sudden, the Blues move the ball quickly out of the centre and a quick pass down to Flynn resulted in a goal for the Blues and we still had a struggle on our hands.
The quarter ebbed and flowed, and nobody could close the game out and it was still anybody's at this stage.
Both teams we're running a loose man and defence in both Jesse for the Blues and Charlie for the Reds kept propelling the ball forward at every opportunity.
Another goal from Felix, who won the derby "Beau Vernon" medal, put the game out of reach for the Blues.
