Stellar end to season with grand final wins

The Phillip Island Bowling Club finished off a stellar year with four of the five Saturday pennant teams and all three of the midweek teams participating in the finals.

On grand final day (which was held at the Wonthaggi Bowling Club), Divisions 1, 2 and 5 from the island competed.

With all the games close, the Phillip Island Bowling Club took out victories in all three grand finals.

A fantastic result for Phillip Island, our bowlers, along with the spectators who travelled to Wonthaggi to support the teams.

It also proved to be a repeat performance with the island winning Divisions 1, 2 and 5 grand finals last season - to take victory two years in a row is an outstanding result.

With three new premiership flags hanging in the club rooms, there were some very happy bowlers enjoying a get together after arriving back from Wonthaggi.
