Stop overpaying on power bills

All community members are invited to a free session, presented by Totally Renewable Phillip Island (TRPI) to find out whether they're on the right electricity plan.
The session on July 11, from 10am until 12.30pm at the Phillip Island RSL follows back-to-back successful events by TRPI on EVs and heat pumps.
At the session "Are You Paying Too Much for Electricity?" you will learn how to read your electricity bill, compare plans, and switch - in plain English, with no obligation.
A recent check for a local Surf Beach resident found they could save $24 every month just by switching plans - no solar, no new appliances, just a better deal.
Multiply that across hundreds of households and the community impact is significant.
"Electricity plans have never been more complicated, and most households are paying more than they need to without realising it," said Garry, the TRPI member coordinating this event.
"We're here to give local residents the knowledge and confidence to act - because in this cost-of-living environment, even a modest saving on your power bill makes a real difference."
The event is free, but registration is encouraged: events.humanitix.com/am-i-on-the-best-electricity-plan
