Local bushwalking group Bass Coast Strollers have been able to purchase new club uniform shirts for their members through funds provided by Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) under the 2022-23 Sporting Club Grants Program.

The club requested the uniforms to enhance the street visibility and sun and wind protection of existing members, as well as to create an appealing visual drawcard to attract new members while walking through local neighbourhoods and bush tracks.

Bass Coast Strollers organise weekly short (4km) and long (8km) walks on Monday mornings in local towns, beaches and bush, as well as a few away walks or trips each year.

This provides a great opportunity for people to get out and about in nature, learn more about local places and enjoy regular social interaction. Bass Coast Strollers is affiliated with Bushwalking Victoria.
