Super beer, Superbikes
Grand Ridge Brewery is one of Australia’s first and most recognised craft breweries.
One of the World's Most Awarded Australian Craft Brewing Pioneers is Official Naming Rights Sponsor of 2022 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship Australian Round at Phillip Island on November 18 – 20.
Grand Ridge Brewery is one of Australia’s first and most recognised craft breweries being 100 per cent independently Australian and family-owned.
Eric Walters, Owner and Managing Director of Grand Ridge Brewery said he was extremely excited to be sponsoring the event at Phillip Island.
“This sponsorship will be in memory of our head brewer and avid bike enthusiast Dave Breheny and we look forward to doing him proud.”
The Grand Ridge Brewery is housed in an old butter factory in Mirboo North. The site was chosen for its exceptional water quality for beer and cider making, given its position on the very top of the mountains in the Strzelecki Ranges.
After extensive product testing to achieve the highest standards in pure beer, Grand Ridge started pioneering the Australian Craft Beer Industry in June 1989.
With a strong passion for pure products with no added chemicals or preservatives, along with wonderful brewers, the brewery has achieved more than 300 National and International awards over the last three decades, making Grand Ridge Brewery one of the world’s most awarded breweries.
David Bennett, General Manager of Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit says Grand Ridge Brewery has already built a loyal following from World Superbike fans in the past:

“Grand Ridge Brewery has been our craft beer supply rights partner of WorldSBK events in both 2019 and 2020, and has already built a loyal following from our WorldSBK fans at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.”
“This partnership will see a fantastic opportunity to expand our range of craft beer and cider on offer, especially in our new Holeshot Bar offering that overlooks Doohan Corner – giving our spectators the best views and beers to heighten their experience at the 2022 event.”
The event includes a WorldSBK Expo, showcasing many of the major motorcycle manufacturers.
You can get close to the action with a Pit Pass or soak up the atmosphere on Superscreens located around the circuit.
All three-day ticket holders get access to the WorldSBK Paddock, so you can mingle among the international teams, with autograph sessions, rider media conferences and entertainment.
