Surf Beach death
A man has died at Surf Beach today, after being pulled unresponsive from the water.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man in Surf Beach today (December 3).
Police media said it was understood passersby pulled the unresponsive man from the water about 1.10pm today.
“CPR was performed but sadly the man, who is yet-to-be formally identified, died at the scene,” the police spokesperson said.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to an incident in Surf Beach at around 1.00pm and Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics attended the scene.
