Tennis Update

The Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, October 8 at the Leongatha Tennis club.

Each club was represented by one delegate due to restrictions.

Berry’s Creek is not entering a team this season and so not able to do the club’s duty on the committee.

Well done to Warren Littlejohn who put his hand up to be President, Frank Dekker as Secretary, Sean Fraser as Treasurer, and Mary Jepson as Score Secretary.

The 2020/21 season is to commence on Saturday, November 7.

Draws are currently being put together and booklets will be out before the season starts.

Clubs, please have the names of your teammates to Mary Jepson as soon as possible either by dropping off at 14 Noel Court, Leongatha or by phone 0429 495 350.

The season is a month later starting than normal, so a few less rounds. Six teams in both sections, so everyone will play twice plus a couple.

Please be aware of restrictions as the season goes on. No afternoon tea and restricted numbers in the club house.
