The happy sounds of Ukulaliens
The Ukulaliens play every Thursday between 10am – 12pm at Steptoe’s Shed in the Concourse. From left: Jodie Doman, Diane Kelly, Sophie Maddigan, Madeline Pitt, Rebecca Tewhata and Deb Amor.

There’s nothing extra-terrestrial about these aliens … the Ukulaliens is a happy band of ukulele players who meet each week at Steptoe’s Emporium (the Lions Club depot) in Cowes.

Every Thursday from 10am – 12pm the women, who have been meeting up for more than two years, get together and play some tunes.

Originally the group met at the library, but with Covid, they’ve moved to an undercover outdoor space.

There are currently between 12-15 members and beginners are very welcome. Entry is a gold coin donation.

Steptoe’s Emporium, 101 Dunsmore Road, Cowes.
