Tournament of minds

Three teams from Bass Coast College San Remo Campus will be heading off to Latrobe University in September to compete in the Victorian final of Tournament of Minds.

The teams progressed to this level after winning at the regional division in Churchill, entering the language literature, STEM and social science challenges.

Students had six weeks to prepare a creative response to their challenge, with teams working collaboratively to present solutions, including writing scripts and making all props.

Teachers and other adults are not allowed to assist or give advice and at state competition level teams are given only three hours to create a challenge.

Tournament of Minds has a long successful history at Bass Coast College with many teams moving onto national finals.

Students from year 7-9 are all welcome to join a team.
