U10 Blue put on a show - U10Blue vs Killy-Bass

The effort made by the U10 Blue team this week was an excellent example of true teamwork; with the coach and with each other.

Hard work, listening and caring for teammates saw our players linking up plays and moving the ball forward to kick goals! And what a lot of them there where!

Captain, Archer revved up the kids with inspirational words; ‘pick up the ball and boot it’ and coach Bianca’s words ‘Back yourselves’ made an impact at the first bounce.

Within minutes, Jet was 4:1 in the middle, cleared to Jasper who kicked to Noah and Goal!

This play set the standard throughout the match; Taj had a great chase down and Casper, Cash, Billy, and Phoenix had great timing.

The second quarter was owned by Billy.

Not only did he score his first goal for this season, but with support from Sam, William, and Jet, scored a Second! Go Billy!

With the crowd cheering and just before the siren, Jackson led to Sam who came through with another fantastic goal.

The second half saw tackle pressure converting to outstanding play by Ethan, Niko, Zane and Aria.

William showed great bravery by picking himself up after being hit, selling the candy, and supporting Ethan to goal!

Every scoring opportunity this week was down to hard work by each and every player.
