This premier Australian State Championship Series Round is back at full strength at Australia’s most picturesque circuit, after somewhat constrained rounds in 2019 and 2020, followed by a great showing in 2021.
This event is the Phillip Island Auto Racing Club’s second of four race meeting promotions planned for the year along with August Access 2022 and Island Magic 2022. The events are of great significance being held in the club’s Platinum Jubilee Year.
Action a plenty is assured from 9am to 5pm daily, and with family friendly admission it is a great value day of racing entertainment.
Adults weekend passes are a mere $30. Tickets for Sunday are $25, and Saturday only $20. Kids under 16 are admitted free all weekend.
PIARC commenced celebrations of its 70th Anniversary on March 26 with the 70th Anniversary Closed Race Meeting, and will continue using each event as part of those celebrations throughout 2022.

The club was founded on March 26, 1952 at the Savoy Hotel Melbourne and ran its first race meeting at the Island on December 15 1956.
The Club is hoping for 250 plus entries in total for this fantastic series round, which will feature all the usual categories, including: Circuit Excels, Formula Ford and Formula Ford 1600, Formula Vee, Historic Touring Cars, HQ Holdens, Improved Production Cars, MG & Invited British Sports Cars, Porsche 944 Challenge, Saloon Cars, Sports Cars and Sports Sedans.
The 2022 Victorian State Race Series is being conducted at both Phillip Island and Sandown throughout the year, with rounds already competed in February at Sandown and at Winton in March.
Make sure you note May 14 and 15 in your diary for a weekend of great budget priced family motorsport action at Phillip Island.
