If you enjoy the thrill of the find – the kind where you spot something across a rack and think “that’s coming home with me”, Phillip Island Winery has a date for your diary.

On Sunday March 15, the winery is hosting its Vintage and Designer Market, bringing together a curated collection of vintage treasures and designer pieces.

Running from 10am to 2pm, visitors can browse stalls filled with everything from timeless clothing and accessories to carefully sourced designer finds ready for their next chapter.

Vintage shopping has a certain magic about it. It’s part treasure hunt, part time capsule – and far more satisfying than clicking “add to cart”.

Every rack has character, every piece has a past, and chances are you’ll leave with something you won’t see five other people wearing next weekend.

The day begins at 10am with fresh pastries, good coffee and a few excellent reasons not to rush home – namely Mimosas and Bloody Marys.

They pair surprisingly well with vintage browsing, particularly when you’ve just found the jacket you didn’t know you needed.

From 11.30am, the kitchen will start serving lunch for those who decide their “quick look around” deserves a longer stay.

The Yards Cellar Door will also be open throughout the day, for anyone who prefers their Sunday shopping paired with a crisp white or a relaxed rosé.

And because Sundays on Phillip Island are best enjoyed slowly, live music will follow later in the afternoon, making it very easy to turn a quick market visit into a full day out.

Events like this are about more than just shopping. They’re a chance to support small sellers, discover unique pieces and enjoy a relaxed Sunday with friends in one of the island’s most scenic settings.

Whether you’re hunting for a statement jacket, a vintage gem or simply an excuse to spend a few hours in good company with a glass of wine, the Vintage and Designer Market promises a little something for everyone.

Phillip Island Winery has become known for creating the kind of gatherings where you arrive thinking you’ll stay for half an hour … and somehow find yourself still there well into the afternoon.

So bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and maybe bring a little extra space in the wardrobe.

The Vintage and Designer Market will take place at Phillip Island Winery on Sunday March 15 from 10am to 2pm.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
