Music Arvo for Deb
The Waterline community is holding a series of events in the coming months, including events to raise funds for the area’s nurse practitioner.
The funds raised will help Deb Garvey continue the practice in Grantville, which has operated in the area for 11 years.
On Saturday, November 19, a musical afternoon is being organised, again to raise funds for the nurse practitioner service.
From 5pm to late at the Corinella Hall, special guests The Flaming Mushrooms will entertain the crowd, along with other performers. The Cheeky Goose Café food truck will supply a mouth-watering range of food during the evening.

The fundraisers were organised after a recent Medicare review concluded that nurse practitioner Deb Garvey was spending more time with her patients than Medicare allowed and she’s been directed to repay money, with further restrictions placed on the Medicare items she can access.
